Technical Customer Project Administrator
Position Overview
Works with customers and the various internal groups: Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering and R&D to facilitate various aspects of technical projects while providing service that exceeds the expectations of both.
CPA Administrative Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains customer relationships
- Interacts with customers by phone, email or in person
- Receives and processes orders for products and services supplied by the company
- Prepares documents and reports of business transactions in accordance with company and ISO procedures.
- Determine credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders received.
- Works with Production, Procurement, and Planning as needed to estimate date of delivery to customer
- Prepares and tracks quotes, deliver quoted prices by working with Engineering Teams to evaluate quote request and customer needs
- Generates preliminary and budgetary quotes along with detailed quote documentation
- Researches and presents reports showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing company products and services
CPA Technical Responsibilities
- Load Bill of Materials
- Create and process ECN (Engineering Change Notice) TED (Temporary Engineering Deviations), JPC (Job Process Clarifications)
- Assess potential application of SWE products or services and offers solutions that meet customer’s needs.
- Works with Engineering or R&D to prepare quotes or aspects of quotes, provide technical support/assistance as needed to facilitate accurate completion using the VM. Some examples include:
- Researches components for quotes
- Creates drawing for Quotes (Corel and Solid Works)
- Work as engineering tech as needed to facilitate projects PCAs for tests or quotes
- Reviews customer specs and drawings and suggest applicable products or battery solution
- Verifies if existing designs will meet customer requirements and determine need for DOT testing
- Provides technical advice to the CPAs & sales force to resolve product or service requests regarding engineering or technical issues
- Provides technical training to clients as needed
- communicates customer feedback for future product development

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree, preferably in a technical field and 2 years related work experience OR 5 years comparable experience.
